Gordon Franks, founder and owner of Optima Designs, started his business as a painting company to help pay his way through college at the University of Maryland. By the time he graduated with a Business Management degree in 1977, his painting company was already well established with two full painting & home remodeling crews.
Upon graduating college, Gordon decided to uphold the standard and continue to run his company full time. The company has been extremely successful over the past 45 years, completing over 10,000+ jobs and taking its place as the #1 rated home remodeling and painting crew in Washington D.C. Optima Designs specializes in interior and exterior painting & home remodeling. This includes but is not limited to kitchens, bathrooms, decks, and flooring.
